 ELENA'S WAY
BY ELENA MOSCATT

What do we do every day to keep Jamie's Way going?
Well, here's the page that will tell you...
Hey wait for me! I'm gonna get ya, Mr. Butterfly! Zzzzzz.

JANUARY 21ST, 2002

My how time flies!!  Happy hoidays everyone!!  Big announcement- this page is being discontinued- and we will from now on keep the news of Jamie's Way coming via our NEWS BLOG.  Why?  Well it seems that Blogs are really popular these days.  Besides that- it's a lot easier for me, and brings in those few extra hits that Blogs attract.  I know this is already like a blog.  But I can't instantly update it the way I can with the blogger.com system.  I'm also writing Jamie's Blog- The Joy of Being Jamie

Read Jamie's Blog, the Joys of Being Jamie, and get into her mind...

It's so wonderful because it's like writing a novel!  And I think once we really get it going, that our audience will be attracted to the site as much for Jamie's Blog as the actual episodes.

So thank you for reading this little page, and enjoy our new system-
THE JAMIE'S WAY NEWS BLOG...

OCTOBER 28TH, 2001

Wow!  The 4th episode is almost complete!  It will be premiering on Sunday, November 4th.  Though there is a link to our rough draft floating around in our CLUBS.  I am so proud of it!  And I've got to THANK our musical artists, Connor O'Brien, Jeni Love, and Christina Bulatao for allowing us to use their AWESOME music!!   This episode obviously works so well because of the MUSIC!!

We've just completed filming on our 4th episode, SpringFling.  I've really got to say "Thank you so much!" to our wonderful cast and crew!!  Thank you Nate, Wayne, Clai, Travis, Phillip, Joe,Dena, Beatrice, Shamos, and Rebecca!!   This episode looks sowonderful!  You all were so great to work with, and did such a wonderfuljob!  I'll be calling each and every one of you for our future episodes.
To Emily Rife, Jamie Powell, and the girls at the S.R.C.S.dance Studio for use of their studio, and their participation in ourproject!  Emily, the studio worked out so well for us, and really added to this episode!  And to HeatherPowell, Eric Powell, and MandiMontgomeryfor being there when we needed you!  Heather Powell will be taking over the role of LorinaSweeney!

I also wanted to THANK our new musical artists!!  Thank you to JeniLove, (and Digi Boy!), and also to Connor O'Brien for use of their music in this upcoming episode!   We hear Jeni's song "Angel Baby" in our actual preview- out now on our episode page!!  And we will also hear Connor's song, "Inside Out" in our episode. These songs made such an impact with our cast that THEY requested we playthem over and over again on the set!  You can hear both songs anytimeat Jamie'sWay Radio, or on their individual MP3.comwebsites, or personal sites.  For all this information- please see our music section
I 'm still editing, so I may use more artists :)

Wewill soon be a regular feature on the Teen Village websites at:

TeenHollywood.com

Please check usout there as well!!  As well as all the other articles, pictures, and other features that the Teen Village has to offer!
Thank you so much to Marc, and his crew!   The pages look wonderful- and it's so great seeing pictures and info about our cast next to articles, and pictures of all the top "Teen" Hollywood celebrities!!!

MAY 17TH, 2001

Wow!  The summer is almost here!  Well we've had a few birthdays this spring!  Matthew McClain turned 16 years old on April 25th!  Happy Birthday Matt!   And Danielle will be 14 years old on May 24th!  (It's coming up!)  Happy early Birthday Danielle!!
Speaking about Danielle!  Danielle has her picture in the new DreamStreet magazine which just came out yesterday!  Her picture is onpage 76!  The magazine is part of a package with the new Dream Streetsingle " It Happens Every Time ".  Danielle is also seen in that musicvideo- she plays Greg's girlfriend!!  For more information on DreamStreet, check out their official website: http://www.dreamstreet.com  And Greg's official website:  http://www.gregraposo.com

YesterdayI participated in a panel discussion for WomenIn Film and Video.  It was great!  I was a bit nervous sittingon such a distinguished panel, and very impressed!  Everyone was sonice!  And I think the discussion went really well!  But unfortunatelythe overall tone of the discussion was how people are not interested inbeing entertained by the web, but more interested in being informed. And so having shorter, flashier video footage is better than having theartistic shots that you see on TV.  Also, the discussion seemed togo against the Internet replacing TV.  Hmmm...
I do realize that the technology is still far from perfect.  And itwill probably take a few more years for the web to truly start to be equalto or  start to replace TV.  I truly hope that it doesn't. But I could see both technologies being blended together such as WebTV,Tivo, and AOL-TV.   That could make for some great entertainmentonce all the bugs are worked out.  Because I spend more time in frontof my computer nowadays, and less at the TV.   And if I had bothtogether- I could watch my "Ally McBeal" and still work on Jamie's Way:)
I do think that in a few years there will be tons of websites like ours-Jamie's Way.  But only if the techology improves.  I'm sure allthe big networks will have their own "internet shows" someday.  Ithink this will start to happen in about 2003 or so.  That's my prediction!  When Jamie's Way is six years old!!  (my cast will be so old by then!)
Speaking about favorite Television shows- do see our documentaries! Our first is out now, and features our cast chatting about TV!  Italso features the song, "Truth" by Lysa Nalin-our "Artist of the Month"!
This June we will film our 4th episode.  I can't talk about it right now.  But our webcam will be on alot in late June.  We will also schedule another chat, which willhopefully include our cheerleaders, and musical artists!  In Junewe will also introduce to you our new characters, Lonnie Porter, and KristieLords.   We are still searching for Eddie,so please tell all those cute teenage boys to start sending in pics! Our address, and character information can be seen on our AuditionsPage .

March 28th, 2001

Well the Jamie's Way weekend was a success!!  We had a writers meeting on Saturday, March 24th, and a photo shoot on March 25th.  Both were great!  At the writers meeting we worked on some plots, and character backgrounds.  And no- I'm not going to give any details.  Thefuture plots of Jamie's Way will remain a secret until they are filmed:)  But we have a lot of great plots ready to be written and filmed! So keep an eye on us!  And also- keep an eye on Jamie'sdiary!  So it will be "Interactive"!!
The photo shoot was great!  Gindy did the make-up, and did such awonderful job!!!  And Nina was sooo nice to let us use her house allweekend!  Thank you so much Nina!!!  Did you notice some of thenew pics on the front page?  Kristin wasn't quite herself that day- but she still  managed to be so photogenic! I really love the pics with her and Danielle! They both are so beautiful!
The kids did some really fun stuff that day.  They played a game called "Freeze" where two people start a scene (a conversation/ improvisation),and then someone freezes them, and takes one of their places, and continuesthe conversation changing it to a different theme!   It was alot of fun!  They also all had a really intense conversation aboutTV shows, movies, etc.  I caught it all on film.  I will be makinga Jamie's Way documentary from the various pieces of video I have of thecast throughout the past three years.  I can't believe it has beenthree years now.  I'm totally amazed that Jamie's Way has come thisfar- though I feel it has miles to go still.  I just hope our world-wideaudience is enjoying the ride!  We sure are!!!!!

UPDATES:
I created two new picture galleries- Gallery18, and Gallery 19. I also added the bio page of Allyssa, and the Yearbook committee.  Allyssa and her friends are someof our newer characters.  They will be recording the history of theGreenfield School!  Check it all out!

THE FORUM: http://pub21.ezboard.com/bjamiesway
By the way- I would love to see people chatting more in our forums!  They seem solonely.  :(  So please leave messages for our cast and let themknow you were here!    We have contests listed in our Forum. A few people have already won the first few contests!  This is whatJarah from Canada wrote after she received her package:

" I finally received the prize pack and amso happy about its contents. I am going to show the cassette to all thepeople I know, before long, you will have a huge fanbase in Canada! Thank you for the press kit, cd-rom and the video! It's just wonderful to havestuff from what I think is the greatest internet site on the web (Matthew'sDark Angel site is also very good!) Can't wait till the next episode, tillthen I'll be wearing out the cassette and the cd-rom!
Take care all of you guys!      Jarah "

Thank you so muchJarah!  And thank you so much for writing in our forum!   I want to see more people write in the forum!  :)

About the March 21st Auditions:

On March21st we took part in a "talent search" event.  When we first joinedin on the "event" we thought our auditions would be FREE as they have alwaysbeen (and will always be).  But two days before the event, I found out that even "my people" would have to pay the $25.00 fee-  to take part in the event.  I was very upset at that- but the flyers wereout and there was already tons of  publicity about the "talent event"(which the JamiesWay.com name was part of).  I also heard the wonderfulradio commercials Bohagers had bought on B102.7  So we stayed in the event.
I'm writingthis to explain that I would never charge a fee to audition- nor do I wantpeople to think that we would or that we're fake or fraudulent in any wayshape or form.   I want to apologize to those that did pay.  Jamie's Way had nothing to do with the fee-nor did we receive any moneyfrom this event.    We are a "low budget" cutting edge production that loves to find and nurture new talent.  Of the cast we have sofar- Matt, at age 15 wroteand directed episode number 3, "Tyler'sWay"   and Kristinat age 13 did the wardrobe design.  If that's not a worthwhile opportunity-I don't know what is!
In generalwe still had a  very good time at the talent event.  We met alotof  wonderful, and dedicated people!   Ezraand Kristin wereboth there- and the people that auditioned for us got to read lines withthem! Kristin sang a Christina Aguilera song on stage!  Her brother Jeremyperformedto N-Sync, and their cousin Alexis sang to Jennifer Lopez!   There was a choreographer there who taught some dance steps.  Kristinperformeda few dances with her and some of the other auditioners.  In general-though it was raining terribly that night- it was still a success!

We willbe holding another audition session again this spring- (TOTALLY FREE OFCOURSE!)
I will announce it here within the next fewweeks.  But in the meantime: If you areinterested in auditioning for Jamie's Way please send us an e-mail so wecan make arrangements.  And also please send pictures and headshots (or snapshots).

March15th, 2001

HappyBirthday MOM!!!  Wow- so how is everyone?  So we had our party!  It was great- over 80 people came- I think!  And a whole group ofpeople we really didn't know- so it was a lot of fun!  We will behaving a big Premier soon- open to the public (for a cost) with lots ofbands!  But it's still in the works.
On March 21st- we are having auditions once again.  This time I hope we'll actually get some people to audition!  If you look at one ofthe first entries of this list- you'll see we once had auditions whereone three people showed up. :(  We waited all day.  This timeit's at Bohagers barand Grill.  So I know there will be people there anyway.  Also- there are a few other agencies involved, and there's a huge ad inthe Baltimore City paper this week- so I know we'll get a few people!!     Check out our AUDITIONSPAGE for more details.

By the way- we really are in search of "Uncle Asher Daniels" now- the lead singer in a rock band- and Jamie's cool uncle.  So if you know anyguys that might fit the part- send them over to Bohagers with a music sampleand there GORGEOUS LOOKS!!    And a big warning to ya- who ever plays "Asher Daniels" will really be promoted- and could easilybecome a "teen Idol".  I'm thinking of a "Rob Thomas" type- with aband similar to MatchBox  20.    Good luck Rock Stars!!!

Speaking about the Baltimore City Paper!  Last week, March 7th-13th, there was an article about us written by JoabJackson in his column called "CyberPunk"!   Thank you Joab, it was a wonderful article!  To read his article, and any other articles written by Joab Jackson, please click HEREor any of the other links in this paragraph :)

The webcam willbe on ALL WEEKEND on March 24th-25th.  We are having a photo shoot, possible rehearsal, and writers meeting that weekend so you'll be ableto watch us in action!   It will also be on March 21st from 5pm-midnight at the Auditionsat Bohagers!!

PS:  Newupdates on the bio pages of Jamie,Samanthaand Elena.

NOVEMBER 28TH,2000

WOW!  I have not written to you in a long time!  A lot is happening!  Ok, so where should I begin?

We have finally completed filming on our third episode, Tyler's Way.  And actually, we are almost finished editing!  Infact, for those who are really curious, the rough draft is here on the web.  It's on our first secret page- for those who know about it.  And for those whodon't- I'll give you a hint:  there is a link to that secret pageon this one!  Just look around!

I would like to THANK the bands for allowing us to use their music in the show: Jengurl, Jamie'sBrother, and Lysa Nalin! You all are such talented and wonderful performers, and your music helpsto bring our "story" to life!  Thank you so much, and welcome to theJamiesWay.com family!  Also, I still love you, LucindaBright, and the Dipsomaniacs -you're still part of our family!
We are in the process of creating our music section- finally.  Itshould be ready by December 11th.

If you miss it, we'll be having another chat session here on the site realsoon.

An event that many missed, but many new veiwers caught:  I was onthe Morning Edition of the WJZ-TV news Show.  Actually, the segment is called "Coffee With Don and Marty" and it's with DonScott and MartyBass, from Channel 13 here in Baltimore.  They sent a cameraman to our set, and interviewed me thru a TV monitor.  It was great, because I wasn't as nervious- I was in my own setting.   The segmentwas over 6 minutes long!  Thank you, Don and Marty!  Let's doit again sometime, and I'll bring my cast!

AUGUST 30TH, 2000

HINT FROM THECREATOR:

JamiesWay.com is not only a production with digitally filmed episodes,it is an adventure into somebody else's world- Jamie's World.  Sothe web site represents her world, her life...  As many of you mightalready know, we have been on the web for over two years now.  Butin actuality, we are only just beginning.  The design of the siteisconstantly growing, and changing.  To really appreciate the site asa whole, you must look around.  Move your mouse along the variouspages looking for secret links, secret captions in the pictures, secretpages.  There will be more and more of that as we progress! Why?  Because you can never know everything about a person just bylooking at them.  If you look deeper into them, and read between thelines, you may learn a little more!

This is your chanceto really get to know Jamie, and all her pals.

                                                               THANK YOU!  ELENA MOSCATT

AUGUST 30TH, 2000

Yesterday Kristin, her friend Rachel, and I took pictures at a lake inthe county.  The pictures turned out beautiful!  They are for Jamie'sCloset, our fashion section.  We have been updating Jamie's Closetall month, and will continue to do so on a regular basis.  Kristinhad outgrown most of the old outfits so they were all completely removed. I think she's reached a plateau in her growth for now, so hopefully we'llbe able to keep most of these fashions in the closet for while.  Butyou know how growing teenagers can be!  Check out all the new pics, and vote on your favorite fashions!

Click on thepic above to visit Jamie's Closet

August 3rd, 2000

Now you can readJamie's diary.  There will be a new entry each week.  Simply go to her BIOPAGE and search for the hidden link.  There's no way we are going to make this easy for you- after all journals are supposed to be private!!  So go look!  Have fun!
Also there will soon be diaries for Tyler,April, and Samantha. Read what all the characters are saying about each other between episodes!

APRIL 24TH:
Today we're putting the web cam avi's onto the Behind-the-scenessection, and web cam page.  I'm also arranging individual auditionsfor our cheerleaders.  And creating press packets.  Lot's ofcomputer work.  Next week I will start doing craft services for anew TV series.  Don't worry- I won't be giving up Jamie's Way. Craft services is my day job,  Jamie's Way is my obsession! (I hope one day it will be your too!)

APRIL 16TH:
Today we held auditions at the Towson Center for cheerleaders, and therock star uncle, Asher Daniels.  It was a busy day!  CoachEverett of the Towson University Cheerleaders was there to help us out!  J.J., Ron A.(Freddie), Nina Costa, Jennifer Evans, Barry were all there to help usout!  Paul Jr, and Paul Moscatt Sr. were running the web cam, andcomputers for us! LeslieGuilford broght in a wonderful lunch (shrimp salad sandwiches, turkeywraps, and two different kind s of past salad.) KristinKeswick,Matthew McClain ,DanielleFaurot, Anita Faurot, DanielKlipa, andGayle Guilfordand family, were all there to give moral support.  And Lisa Dietrichwas our camera woman.  Unfortunately we didn't get very many peopleto audition for us.  We will be holding another audition in June. If you are still interested, you can make arrangements with me by e-mail. Or send us a tape, following the interactions on the auditionspage.
Kristin, and Danielle met the Towson University Cheerleaders, and got toperform some stunts with them!  Check out GallerySix to see the pictures!  I also got to interview Kristin.  You can check that out on our secret url page by buying our CD(see our storepage for details)  You can also find the secret URL by joining our Yahoo Club (YAHOO!!).
Coming real soon...See the web cam galleries from April 16th, 2000.  See what you missed at our auditions!

APRIL 9th:
Today Jennifer Evans and I went to the cheerleadingtry-outs at Towson University.  We watched as freshmen auditionedfor Towson's Cheerleading Squad.  They were judged on a series ofdifferent talents including dance, stunts, and tumbling.  Some ofthe stunts were very hard.   But I'm sure college cheerleaders are used to most of them.  Itwas a very good experience right before the big day!

MARCH 26TH:
Today Kristin, Danielle, and Anita (Danielle's mother)went to the Britney Spears concert.  It was a great concert! Krisand Danielle talked toa reporter from Channel 13, and were on the news talking aboutBritneySpears.   They also met her lead dancer, TJ, and had pics takenwith him.

March 25th:

Today I had a photo session with Kristin,Matthew, Ezra,Jessica, Danielle, and Shepherd at a localplayground in Baltimore.  The pictures turned out great!  Youcan see them in our Gallerysections.  Clai, Shepherd's father helped us out by taking videocoverage, while I snapped the photos.  You'll be able to see the videocoverage soon (in the backstagearea).  Jennifer Evans, assisted me, and also took some videocoverage.  Steve Michalek did the make-up and hair, while David Westassisted him. Leslie Guilford ,Mary Klipa-Wajbel, Alexis Wajbel, and Heather Klipa gave their moral support, and also helped out with lunch!
It started to sprinkle.  The kids kept saying "There's a storm coming, there's a storm coming!"  But Clai and I kept taking pictures!  After all, some people traveled great distances to get here today. I knew had to get some pictures taken.  But luckily the storm missedus, and we were able to take over 6 rolls of film!
After lunch, we read Matthew McClain's script, "Tyler's Way", the fourth episode of Jamie's Way.    It was a great reading!  Jennifer Evans took video coverage (soonto be put on the web), and Clai read all the stage directions!  Jessica'sGrandparents listened, and gave their moral support!  (Jessica's Grandfatherplayed Mr. Watts!)  It was a very successful reading!  We willbe filming this episode in late April and in May.
