| Kapri Productions was created by
Elena Moscatt as a production company that would produce online content-
both in digital video form, and in web design. The first big project
produced by Kapri Productions was the online teen drama Jamie's Way, seen
at www.JamiesWay.com. Created
during the winter of 1998- Kapri Productions has produced four episodes
with the cast of Jamie's Way.
The newest project, "Life After Lisa"
is in the middle of casting, and pre-production. It is an ongoing
college drama that takes place at an all-woman's college in 1987.
Elena Moscatt started writing the script when she was at Goucher college
in 1986, and has continued to rewrite it ever since. She's ready
to film it the way she knows best- like an online drama.
She created Jamie's Way in 1998 as
a short project for her God-Daughter Krysten to act, and to put her writing
and directing skills to the test. It became an online series with
a blog, webcam, and lots of fan interaction. The actors responding
to fan letters from around the world. It was a wonderful online community-
way before MySpace, YouTube, or Facebook came along.
There will be a new season of Jamie's
Way once "Life After Lisa" gets underway. So stay tuned! |
